Stacy's Story
Life
I am married to a Navy man and have three rambunctious boys. Guess I wasn't destined to have a girl! I am now out of the deathly heat of Phoenix and in Monterey, CA, where it doesn't get any colder or hotter than 65 degrees (give or take 5 degrees!). Of course, the water is ice, so we need wetsuits just to get in, but when I can walk around outside all year long with just a long-sleeved shirt, I can't complain. Everybody's loving life here and my boys will soon become beach bumbs! They're learning to surf right now, but will be skiing the slopes again come winter when we travel north for some Christmas snow! I do need a little X-mas season to get me in the holiday spirit, and then I can come back down for awesome weather!
School
Oh man, what can I say about school? I am glad high school is over....I don't think I'd go back and if I could, I'd be less worried about what others thou...Expand for more
ght about me, and definitely would've been more outgoing.
College
I absolutely loved college....I really lived it up. And the best part was meeting my future husband. We were both going to JU for Engineering, me for industrial and him for electrical. To make a long story short, life happened and I had to postpone college for a little while and ended up graduating from FSU with a degree in Information Science. No way I could complete engineering with 3 kids!!
Military
I am not in the military myself, but my hubby is, so I might as well be. They own him, so they own me too. It hasn't been bad and we've made some very good lifelong friends. We've been to many places and have been able to see lots of different things. I have to say that the military experience has been great for us and my husband is very proud to serve his country, and I of course couldn't be prouder to be by his side.
