It's hard to believe how the years have passed so quickly and Sept. 29th will be our 30th Cerritos High Reunion at the Westin Hotel in Long Beach. For those of you who cannot make the dinner you can join us after dinner for only $30.00. I went to last years 1976 reunion and joined a few friends in the lounge bar for drinks and then after the dinner was over with we joined the reunion party and had a blast! It was so much fun to see everyone again. I've also heard that the next reunion (in 5 to 10 years) will be a combination of the class years of 1975,76,77 and 78! what a party that will be, although I must admit it was fun to attend the different class reunions separately. I will be attending the dinner and after it's over I'll check out the lounge bar to let people know it's time to come join the reunion party. I hope to see you all there. cb

chool into a high school, since 9th grade was for the most part concidered still jr. high in many areas. However, Carrie Rogers was already attending cerritos and introduced me to all her friends.
One of the many reasons cerritos was such a great school is that it was a fairly new school and everything about it seemed so updated, fresh, clean and modern. The students that attended were from every possible nationality you could imagine, which only added to the uniqueness of the school itself.
Of all the things that brought us together was the many friday and saturday night parties we all shared in throughout the city of Cerritos and Artesia. Oh, and let us not forget good ole' "Marina Palace" with it's rotating three band stage!
Do you remember the day we graduated and the beach balls that were tossed around and the plumes of smoke? I still can't believe some of the things we got away with. but hey, we graduated and that's all that counts. cb
Workplace
I have been retired for about 2 1/2 years. Yet I am looking into setting up an internet business with a few ideas I have in mind.
