Carl's Story
Carl went to New York City and was accepted at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1970 He got his degree from there in 1972 and immediatly signed a contract with Paramount Pictures to co-star with James Caan in "The Gambler". He later co-starred on Broadway with the Negro Ensemble Company in "The First Breeze of Summer" which was nominated for a TONY. He went to New Orleans in 1975 and co-starred with Lou Gossett in "JD's Revenge". The next year he starred in American Int"l Pictures "The Monkey Hustle" with Yaphet Kotto to rave reviews. In 1978 he moved to Hollywood and became a regular on the hit television show "Executive Suite" which ran for two years. e Six million Dollar Man, Beauty and the Beast. Divorce Court, Barretta, White Shadow, Vega$, T.J Hooker, and E.R. just to name a few. For the last 12 years Carl has mostly spent his time traveling with stage productions around the country and is currently doing his 87th play in 45 years, stage being his first love. He has just finished a TV pilot called "The Breakdown" and also co=starred in a horror film called "Empty Rooms" to be released 2008 in the fall. quotes...I will always be a stage baby...you make a lot of money in film and TV, but sometimes it's not always about money..sometimes character building, integrity, and love of the art takes over....
