Carl's Story
Graduated from OCC and attended California State Univ. Fresno. Just earned my BS Degree in Military Science from Redding University at last that is completed. Better late then never. Retired with over 20 years in the US Army. Married w/two children. Now have 5 grand children. Bayleigh Marie is the youngest and such a joy. I spend lots of time with her and would have it no other way. I married my wife Susan (Conklin) who went to Huntington Beach HS and attended OCC. We were married on 21 Nov 1969 and Sue passed away on 26 Oct 2006. It darn near killed me, but as time passed life continued on and I Met a lady from Texas named Alice. We plan to marry soon. I'm starting over again with a new wife and a 16 year old step daughter named Autumn. She is a wonderful girl and tons of fun. I'm moving to Texas this weekend and start work on or about the 15th of September. I hope to start the Harris County Sheriff's Dept. accademy for detention officers. We went together from her Freshman year until I got out of the Army and started college. I made a BIG mistake and we went our own ways. She was a wonderful girl and I missed her for a very long time. I hope my old friends remember me kindly, as I do them. Alice and I did get married on the 15th of May 2009 and it is now been a year. Chelsea my Grand-daughter lives with us and attending college and Autumn graduates June 4th. I work for the Harris County Sheriff's Offices as a jailor and love it.
