Hi Friends and classmates, There were some good and challenging times at Gresham High during the 60's. My family was in the airline industry from stationed overseas when we moved to a small farm near Gresham. We raised Siamese and Karate cats, Collies, strays and African dogs. We had chickens for eggs, cows, apples, cherries and a blue berry patch. After school we all worked in the fields with our friends on our neighbors farms. There were lakes and rivers and always with snowy Mt Hood on the horizon. We had many good times as a Gophers. School was a challenging grind for me. There was not enough time to do everything. My classes were in opposite sides of the buildings so it was from one class to another just in time for the bell and lunch hour in the music room with a good sounding, old piano.
