Carl's Story
Life
After graduating from Fitch in 1957, I went to Youngstoun College for a year then on to Bethany College, West Virginia for a year. In 1959 I joined the Marine Corps and stayed on for 22 Years, retiring in 1981. I became Senior Marine Instructor at Churchland High School, Portsmouth, Virginia and retired from that in 2001. I stayed in the Tidewater area tending to rental property there until October 2003. I then moved to The Villages, Florida where I met the love of my life, Bonnie Oliver. I have two children, Carla Callahan of Hemet, Clifornia and Daniel of San Jacinto California. Carla has two daughters, Laura and Dana. Laura has a son Wyatt. Dan has two daughters, Britanny and Rebbekah, and a son, Jonah.
Bonnie has five children, three daughters, becky, Cindy and Colleen and two sons, Matt and Mark. Becky live in Indianapolis. Cindy and Colleen live in the Orlando area. Matt lives in fort Myers and Mark lives in Houston. We travel a lot just to visit them.
