Carl's Story
Life
Since HS graduation attended Ball State University. Was a walk-on to the gymnastics team and eventually earned a scholarship. In 1982 was ranked in the top 6 on my best event and qualified to compete at the 1982 NCAA Collegiate Gymnastics Championships.
After Ball State went to the University of Georgia and worked as a graduate assistant coach for the women's gymnastics team and started a Masters program in exercise phisiology. Took a sabbatical from school and helped coach the team to an NCAA collegiate gymnastics ...Expand for more
national championship in 1987. Went back to school and completed my degree in 1989.
Moved to Colorado in 1989. Went back to coaching men's gymnastics at a private club. Bought the club in 1993 and closed it in 1999. Currently live in Denver and work as an assistant coach at the University of Denver.
Love doing things in the mountains. Love to ski when I can. Enjoy hiking, fly fishing, camping... Last summer, hiked two 14,000 foot peaks. Photography is an interest I cultivated in Middle School and still enjoy tremendously.
