Carl's Story
Well, if any of you remember me you will also remember that, while I was in the class of '67, I left after my Sophomore year and went to St. Francis where I graduated. After that I got a B.A. in Theatre with a double major in African American Studies at San Jose State. Then it was accross country to UMass/Amherst for an MFA in Theatre. orhood cultural center and later joined the faculty of Chicago State University in the Theatre Department.
I've also been initiated into a traditional African priesthood (Yoruba) and been in service to a small community for about 25 years. So, my name has changed to Songodina Ifatunji. People call me Baba.
After three marriages and five children I'm a bachelor again and preparing for retirement.
