Carl's Story
Life
May, 2007. I live in Austin, TX where I've been since 1995.
I started my current company, Travelaxe, Inc. (travelaxe.com) in November 2001. Travelaxe develops meta-search software for the travel industry. Our system simultaneously searches many online travel websites (Hotels.com, Orbitz, etc.) and compares their rates side-by-side in real-time.

o, then got acquired by Answers, Inc. in December, 2000. In June of 2001, the VC that controlled Answers shut it down and stole our technology. Bastards.
Other than working all the time, I hang out with friends, drive my cars at insanely high speeds on a race track, build arcade machines, feed the deer in my yard, you know, the normal kind of stuff one would do to pass the time.
