Carl's Story
When I reflect upon who I was in high school compared to the person I am today, it is hard to reconcile the two. I suppose this is to be expected, and embraced. Unlike some, I would never want to go back; whether to High School, or yesterday. I try to continually enjoy the moment, and look with eager anticipation towards the future.
I am now blessed with a wonderful wife, who I met while in High School. (The credit for our marital longevity goes entirely to her infinite patience in allowing me to grow up.) While I still have room for improvement, I recognize that the person I am today is quite different than the kid she married. ff are my wonderfully precocious granddaughters. What I ever did to deserve all this I could not begin to understand.
After a long career working with Xerox and other similar organizations, I now find myself in business for myself. In keeping with the times, I am working to find ways that enable companies who service certain kinds of printers in a more ecologically friendly manner. It is exciting to be playing even a very modest role in making this a better planet.
Among other wise adages, I am a strong believer in two that were passed on by Mr. Zig Ziggler:
