Carl's Story
I am a semi-retired CPA living in Frisco, TX. I have 2 children and 5 grandchildren, and my wife has 2 children. I am married to a retired high school math teacher, who also happens to be one hell of a Bridge player. I joined the Marines Corps (65-69) right after high school, and spent a year in Viet Nam. I went to college after getting out of the Marine Corps, and received a BBA in Accounting. Over the years I have had various jobs in accounting and finance, and earned an MBA along the way. AR a few years ago to get away from the heat and traffic of Dallas. Bella Vista is very pretty with lots of rolling green hills, many lakes and many golf courses. We decided to move back to the Dallas area in the summer of 2014 because 4 of the grandchildren were in high school and we wanted to live near them before they went off to college. After retiring, I started a small CPA practice in Bella Vista because I still wanted to work about 1/2 the time, but when we moved back to the Dallas area, I sold my CPA practice. We travel a lot. We particularly like France, Italy, Cabo San Lucas Mexico and Hawaii.
