I have been up here in the beautiful Catskills; it may be beautiful country but where are the men????Being shy doesn't help either. I would imagine it true, "Love is Lovelier the Second Time Around." ....... Well, I sure hope so.
Surely after 9 years of being alone, I am ready for a new partner, life long mate. I see the positives brought on by my past that have made me a much wiser, mature, loving, always learning, woman.
Life has been hard but I am so much stronger than I ever was or thought I could be. I have accomplished the nearly impossible so I have been told.
I'm Proud of ME!
I owe my thanks to Pat DeRosa who recognized
my art ability and guided me in the best direction. He directed me to apply to The School of Visual Arts. I was in the running for a full scholarship but Tattie and Marina Givatovsky were two who were also very talented so they got the scholarship instead. I was very happy for them.
I wasn't very popular in High School. I thought nobody really liked me, understood, or cared. I'm so delighted to see that so many of you do care and do remember me. I went on to carry out my Art career and was very successful. I graduated from the School of Visual Arts and my last job was at L...Expand for more
ederle Laboratories where I designed the packaging for Centrum, Centrum Silver, Ocuvite, Stresstabs, I helped work on the art needed in the courtroom for the Polio Vaccine Virus; when Lederle got sued when a very few came down with the virus. It was Jona Saulk who invented the vaccine that my EX father-in law worked with in the early 50's when Polio was rampant. Stewart Aiston would have to defend Lederle from those who came down with Polio. I took great pride in the many hours it took to draw this huge 4ft.X 8ft. folding exhibit. It showed the whole procedure from test tubes, experiments on monkeys and poor little beagles.
In 10 years, I hope to be with the love of my life. I'm going to get there by A magic Carpet Ride....
I'm only kidding, I haven't the foggiest idea BUT I will Succeed!
I always wanted to be a good person when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were proud of me.
Now I know what my Mom meant when she said, "The Golden Years are Not Very Golden." Life is hard and full of surprises.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Gene Hurd, because He was my greatest Love, He is at Peace now. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. 5 /03/ 55 - 12/17/93 .
