Carla's Story

This photo is on a fishing trip in Cabo with my husband, Leon, of 30 years. We met through a sister,6 years after Gary Ludwig & I divorced. Been living the dream ever since. I never had any more children, but our (Gary & me) birth daughter found us in 1992.We built a close relationship ,but we both started working & it was harder to keep in touch.She has 1 daughter & 3 boys. Leon is doing some remodeling on our house & we hope to sell it in the next couple of years & move to Florida.We both love hot weather & warm water.We do quite a bit of traveling. Even looked up Roger Wark at his restaurant in Puerto Vallarta. 'More later,love to hear from you all, Carla Well, we did fix & sell our house in Auburn & have been living 20 miles off the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. We are doing well We're ready to plant our 2 garden before leaving to go to Puerto Vallarta, for a wedding. Of course we'll look up Roger at his "Alaska...Expand for more
Diner" & have another great meal. Coming home from our trip this time, we will be hooking up w/some great friends & family in a stopover in Seattle. In fact as soon as my divorce from Leon, my husband of 35 years is final.To make a long story short , he drank everyday & it took a toll on his functioning. He had (probably self induced) medical issue & stopped the Black. Velvet. & I was able to see the fog lift enough for me to realize it wasn't Alzheimer's. I then felt released from my commitment to take care of him, so I filed for divorce. It will be final in about a month & I have to get the paperwork going for my share of his pension. ( Yes, after 35 years I Do deserve 1/2 ! ) anyway I will be 'home in less than 2 months & hope to make connections with some more of my 'old' classmates. 'love to you all, Carla

Hi guys, just a little update. We are outside that Indian town called, "Valve-Sucks" Oklahoma. We have made a record 40 miles today. We are waiting for the replacement truck now. As Dannie says, 'Adventures in moving.' W

We got towed back to Oklahoma City last night. We had 5 young men ( machinics from the Truck Doctor Inc.repair shop ) helping to transfer my worldly goods to the 'new' truck. It took us less than 1/2 hour ! ! ( Granted not
