Carla's Story
In school, I hung around with Ellen Boxer who was my best friend. She and her family became my extended family and I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with them. I loved choir and skipped study hall to go hangout in the choir room. I seriously dated Danny Wolf my senior year. Danny died from cancer 2 years after we graduated. After graduation I attended Western College for Women in Oxford, Ohio for 2 years. Then I transferred back home to Wright State University and graduated with a B.S. in Education. ral other fields. I got a job with Greene Memorial Hospital and then returned to Wright State for my Graduate degree in Art Therapy. I became an alcohol and drug therapist and was able to incorporate some of my Art Therapy skills in that job. I stayed in that position for 32 years at Greene Hall of Greene Memorial Hospital. I truly loved my career and was very disappointed when the hospital closed the entire unit in 22012. I decided to retire at that time since my husband was already retired. My husband and I had no children, but we ride a Harley and have classic cars to entertain us. We also have a poodle and I am a huge animal lover. So what's up with you???
