Carla's Story
Life
Hi, ya'll! As you may know, I did not make it to graduation. LOL I guess you can say I went down the road the hard way, to start with, that is. After dropping out, times were hard for a while. On my own, not knowing where I was really going in life. I worked fast food, and became a manager up to my 1993 marriage to my first husband. I had a baby girl that summer (Leah). Things had become so different for me, I became more moralistic, I learned to get high on my friends and family, and more thankful for the small things in life. I LUV IT! I had my second baby (Aubrey) in 1995. I have been a stay at home Mom all this time with the exception of getting part time jobs a little of that time.
I may not have finished my schooling, but hay life is soooo good just the way it is. I love my kids, and my family!
I did go through a divorce in 2002, just the parting of the minds???? There was no there, there!! I met an awesome man (Darryl) i...Expand for more
n the msn gaming zone during my seperation. We became best friends, and behold! We are married now! I never knew love could be this awesome! Monotony??? NO WAY! hahaha! Me and hubby love to go camping in our R.V. and ride the waves on our boat! (Great therapy!) I love to feel the warm summer wind blowing through my hair and hearing the laughter of my kids as they catch their first fish!! What the heck's wrong with that???? NOT A THING IN THE WORLD!
I may not be in the best of health, but life's been good to me, that's enough for me. It's amazing at how we all change through the years. I never thought I'd ever straighten my act up! (the early years) I just got sick and tired of being sick and tired!
My favorite quote is: Who we are, how we treat others will make the difference. Always esteem others better than ourselves.
That is what really makes me happy, and gives me strength every day. Much hugs to you all! Lemme hear from ya!
