Carla's Story
After high school, I worked full time, moved out on my own and started life. I had a great time being single and did the usual up/down with relationships.
I got married in 1990 and had a beautiful daughter in 1992. We are going on our 18th year of marriage and it seems weird just writing that number. We're happy and heavily involved in ministry in a local church.
I will graduate in May 2008 with a M.A. in Biblical Studies and Theology and I'm hoping my thesis will turn into a published book.
In response to the "Story Ideas":
I vaguely remember the folks from OHS, other than those few that were in our small group (you kow what I mean).
I don't want to even think about any past intimate relationships - that's dead and gone and way more drama than it was worth at the time - man was I STUPID. Thank God ...Expand for more
I grew up. I would like to see all my friends from school and hear about the wonderful things going on in their life.
I can't remember the teachers. I think my life at OHS was limited and not that memorable. I spent most of my time in Park Hill at my grandmother's home. [sigh] good times...
I've got everything that makes me happy, but I wouldn't mind sitting on a beach with my family and tossing the schedule out the window. :-)
My biggest suprise is that I am married with a child - if you knew me then - there was no way I was doing EITHER. Funny how life changes.
There are a few things I would do over, but if I had to pick one, it would have been to go to college right after high school rather than waiting until I had all my other responsibilities.
That's me for now. Hope to hear more about you.
