Carla's Story
Well my my...where to start?! There's been so much going on since high school. All those fanciful years in the circus followed by those "too painful to talk about now" years on Plum Island as a lab experiment. (Boy! Did I read those application papers wrong!) But, as they say, time heals all wounds and the cranial scars don't even show any more. Then, in the blink of an eye, I was off to Trinidad as a Rastifarian folk singer. Unfortunately after years of trying to get the braids to stay in my hair (ppffttt! No luck there!) I opted to scoot back to the states. While back stateside I was able to open up a tiny (but very successful) tortoise masseuse parlor. Then, unannounced, the turtle died. ad had all that cosmetic surgery done! He looked good!) Now what? I don't mind telling you I was a bit scared after leading such a mainstay lifestyle for so long. What to do now? Dare I do something, oh, I don't know, less traditional? Perhaps leave my comfort zone and do something out of the ordinary. Just once? But before I had a chance to decide there was that nasty alien abduction thingy . Honestly! What is it about men/aliens not wanting women to drive!? I assumed old ET's UFO was a standard stick that used unleaded but ohhh noooo! ET had to have the only diesel UFO WITH NO NOTICE AT THE GAS TANK HOLE THINGY! Millions of years of technology behind them and they came in a combustion engine vehicle and ask ME to "fill 'er up!" I'll be paying that bill of for a few years.
