Carla's Story
I have lived near Rehoboth Beach,, Delaware since accepting my first teaching job after graduating from JMU (Madison College, then). I married a fellow teacher, and we "put down roots" here. We both then graduated with MEd's from SSU (then Salisbury State College).
I continued teaching until I retired from full time teaching a few years ago. Now, I substitute teach 3-5 days/week., most often at one local high school. apolis, After receiving his AA in architectural engineering, he is currently enrolled toward another degree at Delaware Technical Community College nearby while living at home. My husband died last summer, a decade ago, he acquired Legionnaires' disease, which Philadelphia area people remember as a really awful pneumonia.
I have fond memories of Thomas Dale years. I recall participating in events there as well as in community. I was the only class of '66 who was pregnant at the 25th reunion weekend--so many classmates were there sharing so many memories!!
