For those who do remember me, I was an active member of the Future Teachers of America lo those many years ago--and after a long, winding, uphill journey, did become a special education teacher. I changed my name legally to Rachel Isaacs some years ago, for personal reasons (that's another long story). I never did get marrried. I have been blessed with the opportunity to contribute to the next generations by the many young people I have taught, as well as the children and grandchildren of my friends.
