Carlos's Story
Life
CARLOS FAISON is a multifaceted performer whose acting skills have been showcased in a number of plays. (myspace/fazonspace,or facebook to know more) A Detroit, MI native known to many as FAZON is by far no stranger to the entertainment field. For more than 20 yrs he worked along side Fred Hammond and the legendary gospel group Commissioned which would be the beginning for the Entertainment School of Hard Knocks and Dues. In 1993 he made his stage debut, (by accident) in the nationally acclaimed stage production Only The Strong, where he shared the stage with, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, LaShawn Pace, Commissioned, Lecresia Campbell, and also Dennis Edwards of the Temptations. Soon after this tour was done he moved to San Bernardino, CA where he was cast in the stage production Talk is Cheap written and directed by Daz Patterson of the hit Broadway play GODs Trying To Tell You Something. ns such as Aint Nothing Like Family where he co-starred opposite Bernadette Thelma Stanis, Ernest Raj Thomas and the late Fred Rerun Berry. He is honored to have worked with these great TV legends as well as to have made history with them as the first African-American stage production to open at the Detroit Opera House. In 2004 he teamed up with the hardest working woman in gospel music, Mrs. Vickie Winans, as the no-nonsense Bishop Henderson in her stage production Torn Between Two Loves. Most recently you may have seen him as the very successful physiatrist in the hit stage play Addicted To Love written by Derrick & Celeste Brinkley (Guilty Till Proven Innocent & A Womans Revenge), where he shared the stage with Mrs. Ann Nesby, Chico & James DeBarge, Ali Woodson and the legendary Lenny OH,OH,OH Williams. Other credits include working with the late great Ms. Lizzie Berry ("Why Good Girls Like Bad Boys" & "Real Men Pray") in her stage production Everybody Talking Bout Heaven Aint Going. At the present he's working on his own shows to bring out in 2009.
