Carmelo (Mel)'s Story
Life
I am still involved with music, which should surprise no one!. I am A Professor of Music at Manhattanville College, where I've taught Music History since 1983. It's hard to say whether I waste more time with the computer or the guitar these days, but I am always open to new distractions!
College

ng back to school every September since 1957. I loved college at NYU and the graduate schools in Binghamton and Ann Arbor, but the biggest thrill was two years at the University of Vienna in Austria as a Fulbright Scholar. As a professor at Manhattanville, I can try to make my students' experience as rich as mine.
