Carmen's Story
I am a blessed individual with four children all grown up, two with family of their own. I married my high school sweetheart a couple of years after graduating from Belmong high school in 1973. Attended Junior College while working and raised a family. Unfortunately after 20 years my high school sweetheart and I decided to end the marriage. We stopped being a couple but continued being a family, till this day he is still my best friend (unfortunately we grew up in different directions with different ways of thinking and different goals). I managed to continue raising my children on my own (weekend visiting from their Dad, to me is not raising children, but he did the best he knew how)....I stayed focus on working hard making sure the important needs of my children were met and was "alo...Expand for more
ne" for 13 years (I was alone but not "lonely"). Howeve, "Destiny" had his eye on "me" and I was introduced to a very descent nice man (by my eldest daughter), whom I dated for approximately 8 years, without really committing because my "heart" without me really acknowledging it was still "dwelling" on the past.....My gentleman collar wanted a serious committment,.....and I finally decided to let "destiny" take its course. I am presently sharing my life with him and again,....continue to be blessed by my surroundings. I treasure my family and the people around me who have blessed my life in one way or another. Having children brings challenges, worries, and lessons to be learned. It is not always easy and at times could be overwhelming, HOWEVER, I WOULD NOT HAVE IT ANY OTHER WAY !
