Carmen 's Story
Much has happened in September 2010 sadly my Mother passed away I miss her very much we would laugh at the dumbest things and talk for hours I also miss her whistle that she could not pass on to any of us kids her love for God and prayer for others. After 31 years of working for MWCIA (Minnesota Workers Compensation Ins. Assoc. Inc.)I retired and moved to Heron Lake/Worthington to care for my Dad I can say that I do not miss the hustle & bustle of Minneapolis but, I do miss food dilivery Sarpinos Pizza,Domino's,Pizza Hut,Hop Wong's,Quizno's & Gopher Grocery. I must say that Worhtington's HyVee has some pretty great food,Pizza Ranch and the Hi Lo Club in Lakefield are also good places to go to. Siamese mix cat her name is Becky she was not happy with me when we first moved to Heron Lake for 4 weeks she was sulking but now she is back to her old self more rooms to roam, sleep etc. with her 5 fake mice.I hope to be doing a bit of DIY to my Dad's house (paint & landscaping) PS. Just to clear things up for a few of you....there were 2 Carmen's in the class of "74" I am the original Carmen Day the other classmate was Carmen Smith.... and of all things married a Day. To any of you Bedford Industries people I am Jim (Jimmy) Day's oldest child. Yes, I do have a brother a year younger than me...Terry and 2 other siblings Holly & Collin. To: David G. yes I am the girl that lived on Clary street. Also as a youth I attended the AG church.
