Carol's Story
51, widow, mother of one and yes blonde! HA! Who would have ever thought. Had 26 wonderful years of marriage to Jerry before he was taken away from us almost four years ago. It's been tough being an only parent of a teenager but I've survived and Alicia is now a freshman at Texas Tech University and I'm an empty nester. So another chapter of my life is beginning.
We live in Katy, Texas- right next to Houston. Love the weather, the shopping and the people. I'm the international controller for a Canadian company who manufactures oil exploration equipment. Get to travel...Expand for more
on ocassion which is great and love the people I work with.
With Alicia away at college this first year I have a lot of spare time which I'm still getting used to. Believe it or not I'm pretty handy around the house and always have more then enough projects to work on plus working in my backyard (love flowers), hanging out with my girlfriends, shopping and yes hitting the gym.
I look back and wonder where the time went- it flew by and I want to enjoy every minute of what is ahead.
