Carol's Story
1.I just hope my old friends remember me in a good way.
2.I always wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns out, they were right.
3. I blow off steam by doing physical activity.
4. I wasn't wild; I don't remember doing anything daring or wild.
5.If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have quiet, proper tools, and focus to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
6. My parents were my heroes.
7. I have lived in North Charleston, Summerville and soon to Davidson, NC.
8. The two people from my past who I'd most like to see again are my Mom and Dad, because they are deceased.
9. I love college football and baseball, and I love my labrador retrievers.
10. I'm surprised I worked for the federal government for 35 years.
11. I won't remodel my home - I would move; which I am doing.
12. You can't control your kids after they are grown - just listen to them.
13. I would love to see my third grade teacher, Mrs. Shaw, again - she was my favorite.
14.If I won $100 million, I'd give part of it to my boys, then spend the rest on charity, my family and taxes..
15. I never lived in a dorm and joined a sorority once and hated it.
16. To be truly at peace and happy, I would be sitting on a boat on a lake with my husband and dogs.
17.My current age is 56. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be in a home. I was so completely naive.
18.My career aspirations have been reached - I am ready to reti...Expand for more
re.
19.I don't remember my first crush, but I'm sure it was kindergarten.
20.My best friend would tell you I'm bubbly, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as quiet.
21.I probably still dress the same because I am very conservative about my clothes. I don't want to be an old person in those loud clothes I see them wearing!!!
22.The weirdest job I ever had was selling shoes and women telling me they wore a six when they wore at least a nine!
23.I share my home with my husband and two labrador retrievers, which I find very comfortable and happy.
24. A big victory was when I won the cheerleading trophy when I was a junior - I wasn't expecting it.
25.If I had a do-over I would not have gotten married so young, but then again I wouldn't have gotten divorced and ended up meeting my husband when I did, so all things happen for a reason.
26.In 10 years I hope to be alive, and I'm going to get there by retiring now!
27.My oldest friend who I still keep in touch with I will leave anonymous, but we clicked because we think a lot alike.
28. At a high school reunion I think it would surprise everyone that I like to keep a low profile.
29.My first job was at Sears, where I got paid $1.75 per hour to be bored. What I remember most about it is watching the clock!
30.Childhood Memory: I'll never forget wearing a cast on my arm for ten weeks in the summer between second and third grade. I could not swim or do anything and it was agonizing!!
