Carol's Story
School
Rod Young inspired me the most -- he taught me about responsibility and dedication. I always think of him when I hear that song, "Leader of the Band".
The happiest moment of my high school life was graduation. It was my jumping off point... Out with the old, and in with the new. I was facing a world of infinite possibilities and knowing I was the only person who could hold me back. We had the most gorgeous sunset at our ceremony and it was the LAST ceremony held on the football field. I had probably 30 relatives present AND my first LT boyfriend took leave from the AFB in Colorado Springs to be there. I felt like I was on top of the World.

Fond Memories: Studying in Haag Hall with my friends, Beer and Music and Laughter at Mike's on Troost on Thursday Nights, Dancing at Confetti's after Mike's.
Valuable Lessons: Reading Machiavelli for Poli Sci, Attempting to learn about Art in "Introduction to Art History."
Workplace
I do love what I do, but I CAN imagine doing something else. I love the people I work with and that makes this job enjoyable. Just when I get comfortable and almost bored, Mother Hallmark decides to change the accounting package on me and so we go through yet another conversion and have to fight to keep our accounts and reporting formats. Life is funny that way -- Lulls you into a false sense of PEACE, and then throws a Mariachi Band in the mix... ;-)
