Carol's Story

I enjoy travel and especially cruises to various parts of the world. We have taken 31 cruises since 1992, most of which were longer than 15 days. Enjoyed Alaska, Asia, Europe, the Meditteranean and South Pacific from Los Angeles to Australia. We have spent about 5 months in the past year with our daughter and her family who just moved to Corona, California. We might be moving there in the near future. I always wanted to be a stewardess when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were worried. and nice people to be able to deal with the day-to-day. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have nice people, humor, and smiles to be able to deal with the day-to-day. My current age is 75. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely not living with reality. No. I try to stay current and fashionable but age appropriate. In 10 years, I hope to be alive and well. I'm going to get there by taking care of how I live. My first job was at Stewart-Warner, where I got paid $1.17 per hour to 60.00 per week. What I remember most about it is fun I had with coworkers.
