Carol's Story
Terry Goebel (Class of 68) & I met in marching band and started dating in February 1968. We went to his senior prom(68), my junior prom (69) & my senior prom (70). Then August of 1971 we went our separate ways. I met my husband, Tony Holt, while attending NKU & we were married July 5, 1975. We lived in Ft. Mitchell, Owensboro, & Louisville, Ky., Asheville, NC & ended up in Oshkosh...Expand for more
, WI. We were married 40 years when Tony passed away from brain cancer. We have one daughter, who is a veterinarian in Berlin, WI.
Terry & I reconnected after he attended the decade reunion in August 2022. When we met again for the first time in 51 years it was like old times. We have been seeing each other for a year & are handling this long distance relationship fairly well.
