Carol's Story
Life
Life Bio- it has been great (most of the time). At nineteen just a couple years out of high school, I married Bill my high school sweetheart. It worked for us, we have been married 45years. We worked hard, at our jobs, at being good partners, at making a good home life, at respecting each other, and then at being parents. Sound boring on paper, but in life it works. Our children and our home life are very fullfilling. Two daughters, then a son. Each child very different from the other. We enjoyed all the aspects of raising these kids, it was a blast. We strived to help each child reach their life goals. The kids all succeeded in attaining the higher education they desired. They secured the employment positions of their choosing. How wonderful is that. Amazing. Now we have 5 grandchildren, which we are enjoying so much. One daughter has three boys 7, 5 ...Expand for more
and 1, other daughter has a son age 6 and a little daughter who is 1.5. The families live within 70 miles of us, so we do get to see them pretty regularly. Our son lives here in Vacaville. Our health has been fine ..... we are truly blessed.
For fun, we have good friends and good repore with the other in-laws. We have a motor home and are always happy to get away in it. I love to read fiction, to sew and to paint. I have a passion for cooking -
I do get sad when I remember loved ones, friends and family that are no longer with us. Karen Azevedo Fresquez was so special to me and I miss her here, she was my first and oldest friend. Larry Schwind was on my first date with Bill. When you read the list of departed class mates it's shocking to realize so many are no longer here.
