Carol's Story

Life I married in 1968, graduated from the U of I in 1969, moved to Ames, IA in 1971 where I taught 3rd grade for 4 years. I then stayed home raising 3 active, intelligent sons. I volunteered in the school system and received a masters degree from Drake in 1990 and a specialist degree in adult ed from Drake in 1992. I started actively pursuing classes in photography in 1996 and am now a professional...Expand for more
photographer.After getting a divorce in 2000 I moved to Colorado 5 years ago to pursue my photography career and I love it out here. Skiing areas are close by, lots of hiking and biking trails, and wonderful people to share activities with. I sell my images at my own gallery, Cartwright Gallery. I enjoy traveling and my photography interests give me the opportunity to see many places in the USA.
