Carol's Story
Life
I spent 10 years in the Marines, including 2 years of college at US Naval Academy, Annapolis MD and 2 years as a Drill Instructor at Parris Island, SC. I fell in love, got out of the Marines and moved to KY in '87. Moved back to Tampa June '01 with my partner of 15 yrs, her 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, & 4 grandkids. We bought 3 homes on the same street! I work from home doing data support for a big company out of San Jose, CA.

004, not long after I lost the good-paying work from home gig. I gave real estate a try and found that I couldn't work within the rules of being a Realtor. I was helping all the grandkids with homework and they all encouraged me to become a teacher. So I did. I have been teaching algebra and geometry at Leto since January 2005 and I plan on retiring from this profession/calling. The pay is substantially less than what I was making before, but the rewards are unmeasureable.
