I retired Jan 3, 08 after 34 years of government service. Can't believe this year has been so short! I think I will go back to work to slow down time! Ed retired from full time Presbyterian ministry in March, 09 but preaches most Sundays at various churches. We travel a lot and always have. Thus far, we have visited 44 countries, some several times and will add four European countries in May/June. We only have 4 states left to have visited all 50, although quite a few were for work not pleasure! Busy year, Granddaughter was Home Coming Queen at the University of Georgia and spent her senior year in charge of Children's Medical Network, University of Georgia. Grandson had a football ending injury during the first game of his senior year at UTSA. He is a remarkable young man and dealt with it in a very mature way. We have now been to 60 countries. This world is a remarkable place. We need to protect it. Several years have past since I wrote this and we have now been to 57 countries. The picture I posted was when we were in Ecuador.
