Carol's Story
I graduated from Broadmoor in 1974, from there it was to LSU. I joined a soroity and studied graphic design. I married in 1978. I taught pre-school for 15 years and loved every minute of it. Three and four years olds are loving, genuine and always say what they are thinking. In 2012 I joined a small non-profit that offices and works out of DFW Airport. I am the Development Director, meaning I raise funds and plan fund raising events. I am currently working on our annual Golf Tournament. It has been a great career change and so far so good.

s a great place to live and work but I do miss Baton Rouge. I try to get to at least one LSU game a year and always pass through on my way to the Gulf Beaches.
I enjoy reading, traveling, friends and bible study. My favorite saying is;
"When you come to the edge of all the light you have
and take that first stop into the darkness of the unknown,
you must believe one of two things will happen:
There will be something solid for you to stand upon
or
you will be taught how to fly.
I have always had an independent streak and am thankful, for it has been my strength.
I still keep up with a few of my Broadmoor friends and hope to reconnect with more.
