Carol's Story

Carol is from Lachine, Quebec, Canada. Carol's schools include King School, Côte St. Luke, Sir Arthur Currie, Meadowbrook, Lachine High School, Macdonald College and Acadia University. Carol later attended Macdonald College (Elementary Education) , Acadia University (Mathematics) . Carol worked at the Corporation of the City of Burlington, the Region of Halton, Halton District School Board, North York Board of Education, Bank of Nova Scotia International Banking office, PSBGM, Christie Brown Co. y had two sons while in Milton and moved to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia in 1981. Their youngest son was born there in 1983. They returned to Milton in 1988 and bought a house in Burlington. Carol was elected as a Burlington City Alderman in 1995, City and Halton Region Councillor in 1997 and served until December 2010. She is retired and plays as much golf as she can. Carol serves on a number of volunteer Boards including the Acadia University Alumni Board, a Burlington Sports Hall of Fame sub-ccommittee, the Halton Poverty Round Table, her Church’s Board and the Burlington Museum Foundation Board.
