Carol's Story
Life
I'm so sorry to miss the upcoming reunion! My hubby has COPD/Emphysema and makes it too difficult to travel. We have eight children, 23 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Most live close which is a blessing. We are active in our church and I love to spend winter months crocheting prayer afghans for people who are ill and/or hospitalized. We love animals and care for a feral colony of twelve cats which we trapped, neutered/spayed, and released. We have three lively and curious indoor cats: Charlotte, Wilbur and Templeton. If you are familiar with the story, their personalities match those of the characters in the book/movies.
In 2009, we moved my mother from Belleville into our home in Columbus, Ohio. I planned to retire in January 2010 and hoped to spend more time with her. Unfortunately she passed away on December 30, which was also my husband and my 30th wedding ann...Expand for more
iversary. Still miss her a lot. I've been really busy since retirement, but loving every single minute of it.
I'm able to spend more time working on writing novels. I've self-published my out-of-print books on Amazon. My current publisher is White Rose Publishing, a Christian publisher. I have one inspirational book in print with them, and have just completed another which is in the editing stage. My nonfiction stories can be found in Chicken Soup for the Soul Celebrates Mothers, Chicken Soup to Inspire a Woman's Soul, Chicken Soup for the Soul Celebrating Mothers and Daughters, and Cup of Comfort for Grandparents.
I've been looking to reconnect with my best friend from high school, Edna Mae Muerer. If anyone knows where she is, I'd appreciate you letting her know I'm looking for her.
I'd love to hear from you. I you visit my website I have a contact page. CarolAnnErhardt dot com
