Carol's Story
In 1981, we left Florida for our home in Fayetteville, AR. At that time we had a son in college, a daughter in college, a son in elementary school, and a daughter in elementary school and myself in college. Bill became friends with a local oral surgeon who persuaded him to go into a partnership in the classic car business, which he happily did for several years. They both now still putter with buying and selling cars, but not with the earlier enthusiasm. I completed a batchelor's degree and worked as a medical social worker while pursuing my master's degree. ey World in September. We've all agreed to do St. George's next summer. I am planning to retire in July. Although I have several friends that are retired and LOVE IT, I'm having a little anxiety at the idea. Most of our kids and grandkids live in Texas and hope that we will decide to relocate there as well. I do plan to post a picture when I get time. My computer crashed last month and to the horror of my kids, I did not have anything saved to discs so I am starting over with my pictures and music. Fayetteville is a university town, close to Bentonville where Walmart originated. We have four seasons ( first snow yesterday)and fresh water lakes for fishing and recreation. I love the winter time here and now is my favorite time of year. Having said that,I have to admit that I could not get out of my warm bed at 5:30 this morning and go to the gym as we usually do. I should be able to guilt myself into going on Friday though. I would enjoy reconnecting with some of my classmates from long ago.
