Life I grew up in Ogden--went to Lynn Elementary, then Mnd Fort, then Ben Lomond. I got married in 1972 to a returned missionary (I wrote to him while he was gone). After we were married, he went into pre med, then applied for Medical school and went into the army to pay for it. We had our first baby, Heather, in 1973. We lived in SLC for 4 years while Larry finished medical school at the "U". He graduated in 1979 and we moved to Honolulu, Hi, where he started his Internship in Internal Medicine at Triper Army Medical Center. He dropped out of the Residency after the first year and we went to Germany for 2 years where our second baby girl was born, Airi, in 1981. Then he decided to finish his Internal Medicine Residency, so we were sent to Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Co. As he finished that residency, I worked as a receptionist in the GI clinic there. After he got out of that, we moved to Ft. Huachuca, Az, where he practiced in Internal Medicine for a year, then he wanted to try to apply for a Dermatology Residency, so he was accepted back at Fitzsimons AMC in Co, so we spent another 3 years there. As he went into his Derm Residency, I applied for and got the job as the Secretary to the Chief of Dermatology. After he graduated from there, we went to West Point, NY where he practiced in Dermatology as the Cadet dermatologist. We lived there 2 years, then he got out of the Army and we moved to Riverside, CA where he worked at Kaiser Medical Center. We lived there for about 8+ years before moving back to Utah.
