Carol's Story
I served on active duty w/the USNavy for 14 years and 8 years as a reservist. I was enlisted and worked in the legal field serving in the states, overseas for 4 years (Sicily and Guam) and onboard a WWII aircraft carrier (FL). Was discharged from active duty in '94, joined the reserves (D.C. area). Wash, DC, for ten years. I retired in May '07, and moved to the Shenandoah Valley. Lots of mountains...just the opposite of northern Virginia where I lived for 30 years. Here, there is very little traffic and lots of nice people. Wineries and breweries are in abundance!! I visit WC at least once-a-year to visit family and friends. I enjoyed the 40 and 45 year class reunions and plan to attend the 50th.
