Carol's Story
Life
Oh how I miss my old school buddies. Between the old band buds, marine biology group and all the sports friends that I used to hang out with, can't believe we moved on so quick.
I have been very busy since graduation with work. Usually 2 jobs at a time. Went from cross country bus driver/chauffeur for a few years then I went to school and became a nurse. I now work in the ER as a trauma nurse in Long Beach. (No, I didn't move very far away). My kids have always been busy with soccer, dance, music and anything that caught their interest. I raise and train guide dog puppies and have always had pets, cats, dogs and tortoises....Expand for more
Went through a nasty divorce, but am much happier and really feel like my life can't get much better. I found a very special person to spend my life with, raise my kids with and one day retire with.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have a pepsi, sleep, and comfy shoes to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I share my home with my kids and honey, which I find cozy.
My first job was at McDonalds, where I got paid $3.35 to flip burgers. What I remember most about it is the free food..
My worst memory from school was getting the chicken pox when I was 12 and missed 3 weeks of school. I WAS SOOOO SICK!
