Carol's Story
Life
AS the wife of a ex Air Force man who is now retired I have lived all over the world. My children grew up with other cultures and because of this are true citizens of the world. I have 3 children, Jennifer who is attending grad school and studying to be a family and child psychologist, Amy who is going to Washington Technical College and Adam who is in the Air Force. Adam and his wife Sherry recently presented me with my first grandchild, a boy named Liam. I am thrilled to be a grandmother and last November I got to fly to Hawaii where he is stationed and visit for 2 weeks. It was the best vacation I've ever had. sister also live here and we try to get together as often as possible. I attended one reunion for Eisenhower back in the 1980's but because of distance have not been able to attend since then. I have hopes of attending in the future.
I am a teacher and I have a great variety of experience. I have taught Japanese students to speak English, worked with special ed students, taught the computer reservation system for TWA, taught 2 year olds at Stanford University's Children's Center for the Stanford Community, and have been lead 2's teacher for Bright Horizon's in Bellevue, Wa. for 1 year. I enjoy working with 2 year olds...it keeps me young at heart and helps me remember the wonder of learning new things. To a 2 year old most Everything is new!
