Carol's Story
Life
I retired in September,1999 from the 52-2 District Court after 28 years, 24 years as supervisor of the civil division. In May of 1999 I collapsed at work and ended up having my aortic valve replaced and I now have a pacemaker. I'm doing great now! My husband, Jerry, isn't retired yet, one more year, so we don't do much traveling in our motorhome. We have one more year before we hopefully begin to travel a little. arkston, since April 2000. It's not a bad part time job and one of the perks is I get to see a lot of the people, including classmates, I haven't seen in a long time as visitors. My son and his wife just made me a grandmother, this year, for the first time. Now I have a grandson. My daughter-in-law had a six year old daughter when they married and she had a son a year ago so I am also a great grand mother. I guess that's all, not to exciting but it's all I have. Bye
