Carol's Story
If only I knew then what I know now! Back in High School I was a wild child who lived for the moment and the next opportunity to party. If you can imagine the farthest extreme from that life, that would describe how I live my life now.
I was married for 13 years, had two sons, and sadly it ended in divorce. Five years later I remarried and after 1 year and 12 days of marriage my husband suffered a fatal heart attack. I was a widow at 47. That was 5 years ago. After my husband died, a friend brought me to Living Word Christian Center. I became a born-again Christian and my life has changed. I will be graduating in May with my Bachelor's Degree in Theology. My internship involved teaching a Bible Study to the ladies in the Women's Correctional Facility in Plymouth. My sons are 17 and 22 Chris will graduate from UND Grand Forks in December with a degree in Sales & Marketing. Nick will be attending college next year during his senior year in high school. Both of them are football players and love sports.
I've lived in the same house in Fridley for the last 25 years. My career is in benefits and I have over 10 years of Account Management experience. Currently I work downtown Minneapolis for an online benefit enrollment company. I worked for ING Employee Benefits for 16 years.
