Carol's Story

For anyone who remembers me, here is my story. I am in my second marriage to a wonderful man who is retired from Dayton Police Dept. He is now the Chief of Guard at WPAFB for his second career. I have two beautiful girls, 18 and 19 from my first 12 year marriage. Up until Aug. 2007 I worked as an outside sales rep. at the same place I started co-oping at from Stebbins. I was diagnosed with myeloma last August and have been on disability since then. Myeloma is cancer of the plasma cells in the bone marrow. I had a stem cell transplant in Dec. '07 at O...Expand for more
SU Hospital and have been in remission since then. My oldest daughter is a sophmore at OSU and my other daughter is a freshman at Wright State University. I am having a wonderful life and have truly been blessed. I am thinking about going to the 30 year class reunion this year since I have never attended one.....and it's on my "Bucket List" : ) of things to do. If you remember me, feel free to email me and give me your update. By the way, I did still have my long hair until the chemo.... it is coming back in dark and very curly..something new for me.
