Carol's Story
Hi to my old friends from Oak Park River Forest.
I live in Shrewsbury, MA now with my husband, Bob and children, Caitlin and Bobby. We also have a golden retriever named Murphy.
I have become active in health policy here in MA and Nationally after giving birth to Bobby in 2000. He was born with Down Syndrome (that is the easy part) and numerous complex medical diagnoses. O...Expand for more
ur daughter, Caitlin was born in 1998 and is the spirit of love and compassion - patience too (well, sometimes).
My greatest interest is in promoting support respite across the lifespan for family caregivers. Caitlin and I testified before a Senate briefing in 2005, and the bill was signed into law in December of 2006.
