Carol's Story
After graduating college, I worked at a NJ Hospital as a Dietitian and got married to a rabbi's son. I had 2 wonderful boys who are now married adults. I got divorced after moving to LI while my husband was doing his residency. I was always very athletic, and it was only natural for my interest in nutrition, medicine and fitness to come together, in the creation of my own business.
I'm a self employed personal trainer and nutritionist in Long Island with an emphasis on special populations. My sub specialties are always changing. They range from cardiac rehab to the new diet I have developed to promote healthy, yet fast weight loss,healthy ...Expand for more
lipid levels and decreased inflammation in the body. I also enjoy working with young women who are just starting out as budding athletes, as well as seniors who desperately need my help to continue to function and enjoy life.
I'm a grandmother of 3 now, and also was dealing with the stresses of helping my aging mother in this difficult stage of her life. Mom passed away less than 3 months ago. I spent a great deal of time last year in my old apartment in Windsor Oaks with her, and came to feel at home in the old neighborhood again. I am trying to adjust to this loss. I enjoy hearing from old friends from the Bronx, Bayside , and college.
