Life Tom and I live in Tyler, TX, where we have been for the past 25 years. We had our own businesses here, and are still involved in a partnership that will probably keep us here for awhile. We found that Texas was a good place to start a business, and that the atmosphere in general is more supportive and less competitive. But at the same time you have to watch your back if you are a Yankee. I am a physical therapist who specializes in spine disorders and I have a special interest in rehabilitating patients after spine surgery. I teach a course on that subject for a company that contracts to hospitals around the country, so it involves travel.
