Carol's Story
Not being too long in one place even when young...traveling up & down the OR & WA coast, attending school in North Bend, Astoria, and Knappa,OR...but graduated from Everett High,WA. Of schools, Knappa is where most of my memories remain. (My photo is with my stepbrother, Howard Corder).
I married right out of high school to a Military man and had one daughter. We later went our ways and I joined the Army, staying for 20 years, traveling thru many states and overseas to Germany and Korea. Retired, but started worked for the UDSA...Expand for more
( Dept of Agriculture), starting out in Dallas, TX & also where I met my husband Carlos. Took a transfer to S Texas and then over to TN. Soon after moving to TN, was injured on my job and took a medical retirement. We have since moved to Salem,OR for a couple years and back to Dallas, TX (6/2009). Dallas is where my husbands family, my daughter and her family live.
I love traveling, meeting new people, and dancing.
Although my military days kept me slender, it seems that since retirement the enjoyment of eating shows all too well.
