Carol's Story
So hard to believe it's been 30 years since we all graduated from West! I do miss you all and hope you know I try to stay in touch but my life is so busy I'm not great about it. Work is too consuming, ask my family!
Since graduation I've lived in California, thought I was going to be an actress, Boston and now Texas. I'm in College Station, about 90 from Houston. Yes, I know, traitor, I'm now a Texan. Texas isn't as bad as we all were led to believe trust me there.
I work for Hewlett Packard, I telecommute. It's good and bad to work from home. The commute to work is short but you tend to put in too many hours! I'm a financial analyst for HP.
I have two chilren. My oldest, a son, moved back to Denver this past August. He is 25. My daughter is 13. She keeps me very busy. And she is quite a charact...Expand for more
er. Very different from me, she marches to the beat of a different drummer. In some ways I could learn a great deal from her. She doesn't take too many people seriously and does her own thing. She could care less what people think.
I am currently single but engaged. I met a wonderful man on eHarmony, if you can believe that! I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great partner. It is unlike any online dating service I have used. John really is a great match. We have been dating for over 2 years and just got engaged. We are waiting on the date, enjoying being engaged. After I got divorced, I promised myself I would go through that again and thought not getting married could be the cure. John has made me think otherwise!
