Carol Arbuckle:  

Graduated from Henry Ford high school in 1961. I achieved an RN /BSN from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan in 1965. I moved from Detroit, MI in 1966 to Oklahoma, and attended the Nazarene University in Bethany Oklahoma. my plan was to become a missionary nurse. I met my soon to be husband the first day I arrived in Bethany, Oklahoma, January 1, 1966. we returned to Detroit Michigan to be married in June 1966. We started our family and 1971. We had four children, three girls, and a boy. We divorced in 1986 and I raised the children by myself from the ages of 6,8,10 &12. They are all grown and successful in their own careers. Not one of them ever disappointed me. I worked as an RN for 43 years. I’ve been blessed in so many ways. I accepted the Lord is my savior when I was 14 years old. My grandma was a first generation Nazarene. She lived with us and was a big influence on my life. My uncle was a Nazarene minister in Berkley, Michigan. I lived in my house for 53 years. In 2021 I moved to Southern Plaza independent living retirement center in Bethany Oklahoma. I’ve now been there two years.
