Carol's Story
Hi to all, I must confess I did not graduate from Paxon. I moved the summer of 71 to live with my dad in Okinawa. But I did go through Jr. High and 10th grade with alot of you. And I married a man who graduated from Paxon in 63. So feel like I have a real connection with the school.
As I said, I am married, with 1 son and 3 step children. My steps have made me a grandmother (Mimi) several times over (4xs) withanother on the way. My son is 23 and not married yet, thankfully, as he is too young.
My husband and I are both retired and had grand plans of doing alo...Expand for more
t of traveling but 2 weeks after I retired he had a massive stroke. We have spent the lasy 18 months rehabbing and are learning to live with his limitations. It left him paralysed on the entire left side. Thank God he has his speech and is right handed. He was on the Jax fire dept for over 35 years.
We live west of St Augustine on the river and have a great group of friends out here in the country. If any of you have traveled SR13 all the way to 207 you know what I mean by country. But we love it.
